Declare The Power of His Blood

Today’s post comes from Shirley Weaver Ministries. Be sure to check out her website A Clear Trumpet, and sign up for her daily devotions if you like what you see. You will also declare a thing, And it will be established for you; So light will shine on your ways. Job 22:28 Light provides clear direction. The Word of God gives light to your path, a guide for you according to the perfect will of the LORD. Your responsibility is to declare His will-to the degree that you know it-and to step forward in faith, believing Ephesians 1:11: He holds all things together according to the counsel of His will. Declare the will of the Lord, knowing you are born [ Continue Reading… ]

Covenant of Deliverance

“Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the LORD. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” Jeremiah 31:33-34 Hebrews 8:9-10 The [ Continue Reading… ]

If You Remain In Me

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father. (John 15:7, NLT) We tend to think that relationship with the Lord is the same as other relationship experiences; we filter everything, including the Lord and His working in our lives, through the whole of life’s experience. Human relationships, for example, make us confident and provide emotional support for us; but when outcomes disappoint, and those disappointments are experienced again and again, the resulting negative pattern creates a new hurdle. In comparison, beyond human experiences or any such limitation, our [ Continue Reading… ]

Truth Tellers

King David repented to the Lord and acknowledged his sin, and the Lord’s requirement for truth. David understood divine wisdom is always linked to truth so for him, a departure from truth meant a refusal of wisdom, a position we, like David, cannot survive unscathed. The principle is critical. Anytime we feel entitled to something, believing it is uniquely separate from or not subject to the law of God, or that we can get away with it once or twice and then justify what we’ve done as though hidden from God, the denial is ours alone. The evidence of truth and purity of wisdom prove that God is not in it. A fool says in his heart there is no [ Continue Reading… ]

Hidden Ones

Don’t you just love those folks who, though possessing tons of ability and natural savvy to move with the influential crowd, still maintain humility and minister kindness in places where the Lord sends them? They are national treasures—often hidden initially but ordained to arrive right on time, strategically and with purpose. It has been said the Lord has hidden ones—those destined like Esther and Joseph. Their impact gives us hope and their example teaches us to step up to the plate and not back down . . . to do everything we know as best we can with passion. Today I had the honor of communicating with one of the hidden ones of God. He is the head bishop of [ Continue Reading… ]

Personal Integrity

We need the right people — with the right skill, right revelation, right timing, with hearts that are motivated by the right reasons. If just one is missing  the result isn’t the same; so we make it a matter of personal integrity to do our part—to be in the right place, with right words, at the right time, for the right reasons.  Moses, a man who began as destiny’s child, surviving croc-infested waters in a basket of reeds, met the Lord at a bush that burned but not consumed and ultimately stood before a nation as deliverer. With God’s rod of authority he confronted pagan Egypt and its Pharaoh and gained permission for those enslaved under Pharaoh to go – [ Continue Reading… ]

Renewable Energy

Those in covenant with the Almighty God are authorized to enforce His love in every setting. Over time, it brings great joy (and often surprise) to see how He aligns and relates your circumstances together in ways that manifest His redemptive love. Christians who know Truth are the real influencers; they are not moved by hard situations but rather wait and watch for God to move the situation with His Word. Anytime you realize you are under the influence of wrong authority, consider the energy it takes to “man-handle” the challenge. Attempts to put things back in order using in your own mental and emotional strength basically forfeits the spiritual route God wants. Besides, since God-given authority is lived out [ Continue Reading… ]

Faith Under Pressure

In the midst of a trial, pressure has a voice; at first it is subtle then, as it grows, it is demanding that we conform to it. From experience we know that to give in to, or yield to that voice for even a minute, brings more pressure. This voice can be discrediting  against God’s Word – the believer’s true authority, our final word in any and every trial. So reverse that pressure—turn it back! Refuse to conform to it. Resist its demand to disbelieve. You, not the pressure, determine your boundaries. You say how it will be. You are the voice of authority! You speak to the mountain of pressure and “it” obeys you! Faith speaks now . . . [ Continue Reading… ]

From Strength to Strength

“Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, They go from strength to strength; Each one appears before God in Zion. (Psalm 84:5,7)   The sense I get from these scriptures is that of strength being released-strength, and then more strength. What is faced today appears before the Lord…in response, His strength flows to us to reveal wisdom, integrity and patience. It flows to and through us to reveal all we need to accomplish the tasks of living. One day at a time. The power of God in our lives is increasing as we pray for faith to see God’s will accomplished and increased. Early in the morning we are strengthened for the day; He speaks to us so [ Continue Reading… ]

Your Laid Down Life

Your Laid Down Life Humanly speaking, we have a certain capacity to occasionally put other’s needs over our own and when we do, it brings out the best in us – humility, nobility, dedication, selfless discipline. Some people do seem to have more capacity for this than others, and some, seemingly, have none at all. As Christians connecting with those around us, empowerment by the Holy Spirit adds a supernatural aspect. We can live and treat others supernaturally because we have the Holy Spirit; the Spirit offers us the same leading Jesus had when He lived on earth. Jesus is our example. He chose the Spirit’s leading and therefore, ultimately, the Father’s will. He came to do the Father’s will, [ Continue Reading… ]
