Returning to Joy When the Pain is too Deep

The Lovelady Center is a place that is designed to restore hope and rebuild lives.  This is a place where women and children enter the program for various reasons, all needing help in their lives.  By introducing women and children to Christ and offering a multitude of needed services, The Lovelady Center helps women attain a brigher future.  Darla has been asked to do her signature conference, Returning to Joy When the Pain is Too Deep, in Birmingham Alabama, where the Lovelady Center is held.  There, Lifetouch Ministries will be speaking with women about how to return to joy, even while you are “stuck” in an overwhelming emotion.  We will be presenting to women the love of Christ, and showing them that within each of us is a God-given drive to withstand life’s assaults and to live in joy.  The majority of Loveladies come from a Justice System referrel and are on parole, probation, or a re-entry/transition program.  Judges send women to this program as an alternative sentencing arrangement.  Lifetouch is honored to speak with these women.  Alongside of speaking with these women, the community has also been invited to the Lovelady Center to hear Darla’s conference.  We are very excited to be apart of this amazing week.
